Me: Putting foundation on.
Abigail: Why?
Me: Well… it evens out my complexion and covers my blemishes
Abigail: (nods as if she agrees)
Me: *straight face. Continuing to apply another product*
Abigail: (Points at my face) What’s that?
Me: It’s powder. It sets the foundation for a finished look.
Abigail: Yeah. (nods again) I put powder on my butt. (very matter of fact)
